Peterborough United Foundation received a grant from the Harry Cureton Fund to host its Extra Time Hub, a weekly gathering open to anyone who is retired or semi-retired. Activities at the hub are aimed to support physical and mental wellbeing, reduce isolation and help members feel more connected with their community.

The activities are driven by the Extra Time Hub members and their interests, and they have included crochet sessions, pastel painting and quizzes, among others. A highlight for many members was welcoming some of Peterborough United’s players, who joined one of the sessions.
