    The Surviving Winter Appeal is supporting local households facing fuel poverty. Low income, unemployment, living in a rural area and living with certain health conditions and/or disabilities are among some of the factors that have contributed to people seeking energy support. Read more

    Over £14,000 raised so far for Surviving Winter Appeal

    Less than two months since its launch, the Surviving Winter Appeal has raised £14,830, over 70% of its £20,000 target. Generous individuals and businesses have stepped in to ensure that the most vulnerable members of our community are supported to avoid spending the winter in cold homes. Read more

    Stuart and Brenda Evans are local residents and long-term supporters of Cambridgeshire Community Foundation. They have supported the charity’s Surviving Winter Appeal for a number of years now, by donating the Winter Fuel Payment that they receive but do not need, so that the funds can support those who otherwise face a winter in fuel poverty.
