Cambridge Half Marathon 2027

Join the team running for a better Cambridgeshire

Run the Cambridge Half Marathon in 2027 to fundraise for the thousands of charitable causes that the Foundation supports across the county, ranging from homelessness and mental health, to the environment and more.

The funds raised will help us to continue supporting projects that improve the quality of life across Cambridgeshire, including tackling the inequalities and disadvantages that our community faces.

The stunning closed road route showcases the very best of our historic city of Cambridge, passing countless landmarks along the 13.1-mile course, running through the University of Cambridge colleges and out to the beautiful village of Grantchester. This fantastic flat course is great for both first timers and experienced runners looking for a PB.

We have currently filled all our places at the 2027 Cambridge Half Marathon.

Enter your business team

Enter a team (minimum of 4 people) to boost your team spirit and give back to your community.

If applicable, you can fundraise for your own fund, alongside contributing to the Foundation’s continued work.

You will receive:

  • Co-branded team shirts with your logo as well as the Foundation’s
  • Support in creating a branded team fundraising page, as well as individual runners’ fundraising pages
  • Fundraising support, materials, and various incentives in the lead up to the event to keep you motivated
  • A minimum of 2 dedicated posts spotlighting you as a corporate supporter across our social media channels
  • Our dedicated charity marquee in the event village: a place to meet the team before the race and celebrate together afterwards
  • A dedicated Cheer Team location along the route for friends and family to gather, so your team feels more supported

Non-refundable entry fee per runner: £25

Don’t worry if you don’t have all runners confirmed straight away – reserve your team place and confirm the exact runner details later.

There are no restrictions on who can run in your team. Invite friends, family and clients – all are welcome.

Minimum fundraising pledge: We kindly ask for a minimum fundraising contribution of £250 per runner to support our continued work. From your team’s overall fundraising total, £250 per runner will support the Foundation, with any remaining funds (if applicable) allocated to your fund.

Enter as an individual runner

You will receive:

  • A charity-branded technical running t-shirt
  • Fundraising support, materials and various incentives in the lead up to the race
  • Our dedicated charity marquee in the event village: a place to meet our team and other runners before the race and celebrate together afterwards
  • A dedicated Cheer Team location along the route for your friends and family to gather and cheer you on

Non-refundable entry fee: £25

Minimum fundraising pledge: £250

We kindly ask you to raise at least £100 of your fundraising pledge by 10 January 2027. We reserve the right to revoke your place after this date if we feel that you are unlikely to meet your pledge, to ensure that our charity will not be at a loss.

Already have a place at the event?

We welcome those who have a general entry to join our team. If you already have a place in the race and would like to run for us, email events@cambscf.org.uk and we’ll get a free running top sent to you and support you with your fundraising. There’s no minimum sponsorship – just raise as much as you can!

How to start fundraising

This year, the Cambridge Half Marathon has partnered with JustGiving to make it even easier to get started with fundraising.

A JustGiving page will be automatically created for you as part of your race registration.

Once you’ve completed your online registration using the link we’ll share with you, make sure you follow the on-screen instructions to claim your fundraising page and finish setting it up.
