
Up to £5,000 to support Peterborough groups working with local young people with learning disabilities.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available to groups that are based in Peterborough working to help local young people with a learning disability to access positive activities and opportunities to develop their full potential.
Examples of Funded Projects

Nicolaus Copernicus Peterborough Polish School received £3,499 to purchase sensory toys and equipment and to cover staff costs for those who work with students with special education needs.
Beat This CIC received £2,400 to provide specialist equipment for the new community music centre which will be used by people with disabilities or facing disadvantage.
Peterborough Special Olympics Swimming Group received £1,000 towards the costs of pool hire, coaching costs and entry fees for competitions benefiting at least 28 young people.
Peterborough Area Down’s Syndrome Group received £5,000 to set up a Speech Therapy group for babies and toddlers who have Down’s Syndrome and their families.
