Charity Golf Day raises £4,050 despite the rain!

Our annual Charity Golf Day once again brought together supporters and friends for a fantastic day on the fairways – and even the rain couldn’t dampen spirits!

Held at Girton Golf Club, the event saw 79 players take part from businesses across Cambridgeshire, raising an incredible £4,050 to support our work.

Despite a few soggy swings and plenty of golf umbrellas on show, the competition was as strong as ever, with some impressive performances across the course.

This year’s golfers achieved an average score of 32.16 points, with 30 birdies and 330 pars. No eagles, but there’s always next year!

Congratulations to our top three teams:

  1. 1st Place – S2 Partnership
  2. 2nd Place – Dardan Security
  3. 3rd Place – STG Mortgage Solutions

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our event supporters and prize donors for their generosity, good humour and community spirit – rain and all!

A special thank you to our Ambassador Richard Waters and his wife Gill, whose energy and commitment made the event such a success.

Rain or shine, the generosity and community spirit shown on the day made it another hole-in-one for local good causes.
