Up to £2,000 for projects building stronger, healthier, inclusive and sustainable communities. 

    Grants are given to those projects helping people that face disadvantage and to those that engage and support local people, and therefore build stronger, healthier, inclusive and sustainable communities. The fund focuses around CCF’s ‘Improving Lives’ funding stream which supports the following core grant programmes: Children and Families, Adults facing life crisis and Adults with health conditions.

    Examples of Funded Projects

    The Edge Café CIC received £1,400 for a new catering-grade cooker.

    The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra received £1,500 towards the delivery of a music-making project with young people in Cambridge who have complex mental health conditions and eating disorders.

    Cambridge Street Pastors received £670 to provide replacement equipment for the NightLite project, a drop-in, safe-space in the centre of Cambridge every Saturday night.

    Cambridge Acorn Project CIC received £2,000 to provide schools with skilled, experienced and qualified supervision to help them manage difficult behaviour in school and provide effective interventions to support all children.
