Hon. Frances Stanley DL is serving as High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire from 2025 to 2026.
During her shrieval year, Frances is fundraising to support local charities and community groups in Cambridgeshire.
Donations to the High Sheriff’s Fund will be pooled and used to award grants to local projects making a difference in our community.
Examples of previously supported projects
- Little Miracles received a grant to support their summer holiday club in Spinney, providing social and educational activities for children with a range of disabilities and/or life limiting conditions.
- Godmanchester Community Academy received a grant to create a wild garden for pollinators, carry out surveys and refurbish their bug hotel.
- Power2Inspire received a grant towards their PowerHouseGames projects which work to promote inclusion, foster community cohesion, and improve access to opportunities in sport.
