Overview

Grants of up to £15,000 for projects working on:

  • Decarbonisation and tackling climate change. The donors are keen to support practical initiatives particularly the installation of solar panels and heat pumps. For these applications, the donor is interested in supporting match-funded options where the group has already secured (or is in the process of seeking) other funds for the work. This information should be detailed within the application form.

This strand of the Fund makes £50,000 available to award each year.

This fund is open on a rolling basis so please submit your application at any time throughout the year. The fund will remain open until the pot is depleted.

Examples of funded projects

People & Animals UK CIC received £15,000 towards solar panels for a dedicated fully sustainable and “off grid” ecological community building at Wisbech Community Farm.

SIN Cru received £11,467.98 towards installing solar panels in the accessible multi-use arts and community practice space for young trainees and the wider community.

The Community Hub Little Paxton received £11,000 to install a solar PV system to Little Paxon Community Hub.
