Cambridgeshire Community Foundation and Deyton Bell today announce that Deyton Bell Managing Director Chris Parkhouse DL has been appointed as a Trustee of Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.
Michael O’Toole, CEO of Cambridgeshire Community Foundation said, "I am so pleased Chris has joined the board of Trustees. This year we celebrate our 15th year and we have achieved quite a lot over 15 years! We’ve made over £15,000,000 worth of grants supporting local community groups and charities, who change lives in so many ways. Our board have been instrumental in helping us to achieve this.
However, we must do much more! We must inspire and grow philanthropy to help more people facing significant disadvantages and barriers. I know Chis’ expertise will help us to grow our impact significantly so that we can support many more people and communities across our amazing county.”
Chris will act as a Trustee in a pro bono capacity and will continue to lead Deyton Bell and engage in other activities which include acting as Senior Visiting Fellow of Anglia Ruskin University, Fellow of the Institute of Directors, Fellow of The Institute of Sales & Marketing Management, Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants, and British Rowing Umpire.
Chris Parkhouse DL said, “This is a hugely exciting time for me and I am delighted to be joining CCF as a Trustee. I hope that in some small way my knowledge, skill and experience can help CCF. I am looking forward to working alongside the other Trustees to support Michael and his team.’
