Recently funded projects
The Laughter Specialists Charitable Trust received £600 to provide 2 specialists to run 12 training sessions for new Laughter Specialists at Granta School and Addenbrookes Hospital.
Citizens Advice Rural Cambridgeshire received £1,500 to provide 10 specialist training sessions to advisers to enable them to be able to deal with domestic violence disclosures appropriately.
Boxing Futures received £1,500 to carry out a boxercise programme which reduces isolation and improves mental health in NEET young men.
Histon and Impington Parish Council received £600 to train 14 young volunteers in Emergency First Aid and Food Hygiene and to support them in running a weekly youth provision for other young people in the community.
The Cambridgeshire Police Shrievalty Trust received £1,200 towards salary of two Security Advisors and one part time administrative staff for six months.
Light Project Peterborough received £1,200 to provide a winter night shelter for up to 8 homeless people from early December until end of February.
