Great response to Winter Fuel Fund and Schizophrenia - counselling and medication side effects.

Over £10,000 has been donated to the Winter Fuel Fund, one of CCF’s funds to help small voluntary groups in Cambridgeshire working with vulnerable, elderly people to survive winter! This is a great response which included a donation from Lord Sainsbury, the newly elected Chancellor of Cambridge University.

High Sheriff recognises the contribution of young people and horticulture helps the disabled

It’s always a pleasure to be invited to the High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire’s Awards night. This year it was held at Peterborough’s East of England Showground and many young people were honoured for their community contributions.

"Surviving Winter" launches and help for young people with learning difficulties

Surviving Winter Appeal launches at The Palace of Westminster! Representing Cambridgeshire Community Foundation (CCF), I joined colleagues from other Foundations and guests at the House of Commons as Martyn Lewis hosted the event which brought together the Community Foundations, Saga and National Energy Action as co-sponsors of the campaign.
