PwC Cambridgeshire Community Fund

PricewaterhouseCoopersOffering grants of up to £1,000 to support local charitable or community groups that are working to:
  • Offer educational opportunities (over any age range)
  • Develop ‘employability’ for a person/group
  • Support the conservation of the local environment

 Grants awarded from the PwC Cambridgeshire Community Fund include:

ABC Pre - School and Kids Club received funding to update the facilities for the Kids Club catering for 4 to 11 year olds. The pre-school had no internet facilites and children wanted to develop their skills in this area. Funding provided an internet connection and subscription for 12 months, and training for a member of staff in IT and internet safety.

Cambridge Mencap.  Funding for a trailer to carry garden equipment by the Mencap gardening service which tends to gardens in the local community, at Cambridge Mencap residential facilities in Milton and does conservation work at Anglesey Abbey.

CAMTRUST. Funding for adjustable IT workstations for students with disabilities to be more comfortable in their learning environment, with independent height adjustment platforms for the display screen and keyboard/mouse work area.
