CCF is pleased to be one of the first community foundations across the country to be working with Localgiving.com
www.localgiving.com is the only website in the UK that offers extensive search facilities to find and support local charities and community groups. The web based facility allows donors to make donations to charitable organisations that operate near where they live or where there business is based.
CCF has supoprted a number of groups to put their profiles onto the site. The aim is to get 40-50 groups on the site from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and then to encourage donors to search for groups and projects that are of interest to them.
"There have already been some online donations made to groups in Cambridgeshire through localgiving and we are keen to encourage the use of this great means through which small donations can be made to help local voluntary groups"
