Remtec “Searched and Selected” a new way to help local charities
08-Oct-2009
Remtec Search and Selection Limited have set up a new charitable fund with Cambridgeshire Community Foundation to provide an additional source of financial help for voluntary and community groups in Cambridgeshire over the years to come.
Nigel Job, MD of Remtec, said “We are delighted to make this financial commitment which will enable us to help some the voluntary groups in the county that are working to improve the quality of life for local people. CCF are going to help us set up and operate our Fund and the whole team at Remtec are getting involved in thinking of ways to raise money”
Jane Darlington from Cambridgeshire Community Foundation said “It is really positive in these difficult times that Remtec have shown such an interest and are helping us to make a difference. The timing is fantastic as the new Remtec Grassroots Community Fund is taking advantage of a programme that we are uniquely able to offer donors in Cambridgeshire whereby the value of the donations made into an Endowed Funds are doubled. As the Fund grows we will be working with Remtec to make grants to support local groups and information about this will be circulated to groups we are in contact with and on our website”.
