Carol Singers raise money for CCF
22-Dec-2009
A local Cambridge choir, Collegium Laureatum, sang carols on Monday 14 and Wednesday 16 December to raise money for the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation. The carol singing took place around Chesterton on Monday and in the Grand Arcade on Wednesday. Jane Darlington from CCF thanked the carol choristers for their hard work and good spirit in weather conditions that were less than ideal. "The singing raised over £325 and under the Grassroot Grants match challenge we are able to double the value of the donations. Many thanks to all those that listened to the choir on their doorsteps and those that stopped and made a donation during their late night Chritmas shopping"
The 2009/10 Cambridgeshire High Sheriff’s Award Ceremony.
