Grassroots Endowment Challenge

Take the Grassroots Challenge (and double the value of your donation!)

The Government has allocated £90,000 to Peterborough and £700,000 to Cambridgeshire – but this money can only be accessed as matched funding for private money placed in charitable long-term funds with us.

You can help Peterborough and Cambridgeshire access the money, and thus ensure local voluntary and community groups have access to a long term sustainable source of grant funding, by making a donation into our Grassroots Endowment Fund For Peterborough or our Grassroots Endowment Fund For Cambridgeshire. To make a donation to either of these Funds please either use the online facility below or contact CCF to discuss.

Alternatively, you can double the value of your own personal or corporate charitable long-term fund managed by Cambridgeshire Community Foundation. For more information on how to set up your own Named Fund, please view the Setting up your own Named Fund page.

"it is clear how the Foundation helps donors to channel giving sensibly and fairly and even attracts Government co-sponsorship...  I would like to become a regular individual donor"  extract from an email to CCF following event in Nov 2009

Making a Donation

All donations, of whatever size, work to improve the quality of life in Cambridgeshire today and in the future.

There are a variety of ways to make a donation to the CCF:
  • You can make a donation into our general "Fund For Cambridgeshire or Fund for Peterborough" online via theBigGive.org.uk

  • Alternatively you can send a cheque or set up a standing order.
  • For larger amounts, over £15,000, you may wish to choose to set up your own Named Fund - Jane Darlington would be pleased to talk to you about the benefits of setting up a Named Fund. You can call Jane on 01223 410535
We greatly value all contributions made and ensure that gifts given today will be relevant for the future.
