Community Foundation 100
The Community Foundation 100 is for you if you would like to support grassroots causes in your community.
The Community Foundation 100 asks you to make an annual donation to Cambridgeshire Community Foundation of £1,000, for a minimum of three years.
We use the donations received from our Community Foundation 100 members to build our Acorn Fund which helps us support local needs, and to build our permanent endowment which releases an annual income to allow us to continue to support local groups over the years to come.
Gift Aid - allowing us to enhance the value of your gift
If you allow us to claim the Gift Aid on your annual sum we can enhance the value of your gift by the standard rate of tax (currently 25%).
In addition, if you are a higher rate tax payer you will be able to reclaim relief on the value of your gift via your annual tax return. For 40% tax payers a gift of £1,000 will therefore only cost you £750 or for a 50% tax payer the £1,000 donation will only cost £600 per year or £50 per month.
Becoming one of The Community Foundation 100 enables you to:
- Make a difference close to home, where it counts
- Support a wide range of community projects in Cambridgeshire both now and in the future
- Receive regular reports by email of awards made by The Community Foundation 100
- Attend an annual reception which will showcase the difference you are making in Cambridgeshire and give you the opportunity to share your views on grant making options for the coming year
- Use The Community Foundation 100 marketing material including use of The Community Foundation 100 logo on your website and in your CSR report, a membership certificate to display in reception/visitor areas and a bespoke letter, if required, to use to redirect requests you receive for funding to the Foundation
