Funds managed by the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation

Cambridgeshire Community Foundation manages a range of charitable trust funds on behalf of a growing number of individuals and organisations.

Direct Funds (those that applicants can apply directly to) are marked with **. To be considered for all other Funds, the first step is the submission by a group of a "CCF Expression of Interest Form"- see Applying for a Grant

• Acorn Fund
  The Acorn Fund is used exclusively for charitable purpose in Cambridgeshire to help support local needs and to meet some of the necessary running costs for the Foundation.
• AmeyCespa Community Fund** (previously Donarbon Community Fund)
  Offers grants in Cambridgeshire (not including Peterborough) for the provision, maintenance or improvement of a public park or other general public amenity; the conservation of a specific species or a specific habitat where it naturally occurs OR the repair, maintenance or restoration of a Place of Worship or a Place of Architectural Importance.
• ARM Cambridge Fund
  Makes small grants to support charitable projects working under the CCF Core Programmes Environment and Community Engagement.
• Axiom Homeless Action
  Makes grants to groups working with people that are homeless or threatened with homelessness in Peterborough, Fenland, Huntingdonshire, East Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire
• The Baker Tilly Grassroots Endowed Peterborough Fund
  An endowed fund which will support projects to help young people (especially disabled young people) to have opportunities and achieve their full potential
• Bidwells Community Fund
  The Bidwells Community Fund makes small grants (up to £500) to support small, local voluntary and community groups and organisations that are undertaking charitable work across the Eastern Region
• Birketts Community Grassroots Endowed Fund
An endowed fund enabling grants to local voluntary and community groups in Cambridgeshire
• Bright Futures Grassroots Endowed Fund
An endowed fund awarding small grants to projects that are providing positive opportunities/activities for young people in the county that face disadvantage.
• Cambridge City Council Area Committee Grants**
  For not-for-profit voluntary, community organisations or local residents groups in Cambridge City
• Cambridgeshire Children's Fund**
  A fund to help disadvantaged children (0-18 yrs) in Cambridgeshire from families on very low income
• Cambridgeshire Community Clean Up Fund
  Grants for litter picks undertaken by voluntary and community groups in Cambridgeshire
• Charis Grassroots Endowed Fund
  An endowed fund enabling an annual award to a Peterborough based charity or voluntary group offering support services to vulnerable members of society in Peterborough
• Cheffins Grassroots Endowed Community Fund and The Cheffins Community Fund
  Funds enabling grants to local voluntary and community organisations helping people in need in or around Cambridge, Ely, Newmarket, Haverhill or Saffron Walden
• Comic Relief**
  The Programme aims to empower local people, enabling them to create lasting change in their communities
• East Cambs Community Endowed Fund
  An endowed fund enabling grants to community groups and voluntary organisations based in East Cambs
• Elizabeth Coteman Fund
  Supports groups working to support cancer sufferers and families and to develop research into Pancreatic Cancer
• Eversheds Fund
  The Eversheds Fund makes small grants (up to £500) to support small, local voluntary and community groups and organisations that are undertaking charitable work in Cambridgeshire
• Grassroots Endowed Fund for Cambridgeshire
  For small, local community or charitable groups who are working to tackle disadvantage in the communities of Cambridgeshire
• Grassroots Endowed Fund for Peterborough
  For small, local community or charitable groups who are working to tackle disadvantage in the communities of Peterborough
• The High Sheriff’s Award Fund and Grassroots Endowed Fund**
The Funds enable annual awards to groups working with young people involved in voluntary commitment or positive activity
• Hubert Julian Grassroots Endowed Fund
An endowed fund enabling grants to local voluntary and community groups in Cambridgeshire
• John Stewart Memorial Fund
To encourage all, especially the reluctant and the disadvantaged, to access sport
• MARS in the Community**
  For groups promoting healthy active lifestyles, the environment, and pet welfare base within 15 miles from the Peteborough MARS site
• Microsoft Research Limited Grassroots Endowed Fund
An endowed fund enabling grants to charitable projects enriching the live of or improving the empolyability of the disadvantaged, or improving the local green environment
• Mills and Reeve Grassroots Endowed Fund
  An endowed fund enabling grants to local voluntary and community groups in Cambridgeshire
• October Grassroots Endowed Fund
  An endowed fund enabling small grants (£100-£500) to local voluntary and community organisations based in and around Waterbeach and Landbeach.
• Outlook Grassroots Endowed Fund
  An endowed fund enabling grants for charitable projects that offer extra activities and opportunities that help disadvantaged children widen their experience, gain self confidence, and succeed at school.
• PwC Cambridgeshire Community Fund
  Supports local charitable or community groups offing educational opportunities, employability development or supporting local conservation
• Remtec Grassroots Endowed Community Fund
  An endowed fund enabling small grants to voluntary and community groups in Cambridgeshire that enable people to unlock their potential
• Ridgeons Community Fund
  Supports small, local voluntary and community groups and organisations undertaking charitable work around their branches in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Hertfordshire
• Savills Cambridge Grassroots Endowed Environment Award
  An endowed fund enabling an annual award to a small Cambridge based charity or voluntary group that undertakes small scale environmental projects involving local people.
• Seymour Grassroots Endowed Fund
  An endowed fund enabling grants to local voluntary and community groups in Cambridgeshire
• The Sir Arthur Marshall Grassroots Endowment Fund
  Th Fund makes small grants to support small, local voluntary and community groups and organisations that are undertaking charitable work in Cambridgeshire.
• The Warm Homes Healthy People Cambridgeshire Fund **
  Makes grants to groups working in Cambridgeshire with people who are homeless, or people with mental health issues to increase their capacity to deliver support to vulnerable people who are at risk during the cold winter months.
• Winter Fuel Fund
  The Cambridgeshire Winter Fuel Fund offers much needed support to charitable projects working for our elderly and vulnerable neighbours.
